New symposium in 2023 supported by NuMeD:

Β-days-2 in Rome: Transition from β to α therapy. Rome (IT), Hotel Marriott Courtyard, Via Moscati, from May 22 to May 23, 2023.

Beta-2 Days in Rome: Transition form beta to alpha therapy

Hotel Marriott Court Yard, Via Moscati 6, Rome, Italy. 22-23 May 2023

After the first Beta-days congress in Capri in 2007, we would like to meet again for a technical and clinical update in nuclear medicine therapy with particular regard to the treatment of Hepatocarcinoma, Neuro-Endocrine Tumors and Prostate Cancer with radiolabelled spheres, peptides, nanoparticles and antibodies labelled with either beta or alpha-emitting isotopes.
The meeting is organized with several round table discussions lead by high profile international scientists in these domains.

Teranostic Nuclear Medicine in Rome

Dear all,
this special symposium that will celebrate the restart of activities after 2 years of restrictions due to Covid 19 pandemia, is dedicated to Theranostic Nuclear Medicine.
We will discuss, with clinicians, radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, the expanding role of theranostc nuclear medicine together with nano medicine and artificial intelligence.
The participation is free of charge.
Please follow the instructions at the end of the attached program.
The symposium will be in Italian, but slides in English will be uploaded in this websites and freely available to all members.

Imaging infections and inflammation

Following a tradition started in 1993, we present the third edition of the International Congress "Imaging infections and inflammation", which will be held in Rome from 9 to 12 December 2019.

Many news also this year. The congress will have all interactive sessions and each participant, equipped with a remote control can participate in the presentation of clinical cases. Each topic will be treated exhaustively from radiological and nuclear medicine point of view with the participation of clinicians, experts in the field, who will moderate the various sessions.

This year we have as main objective to provide an advanced knowledge on diagnostic imaging of infection and inflammation (including bacterial imaging) with particular attention to the methods of hybrid nuclear and radiological imaging, as well as to the practical aspects of imaging with labelled leukocytes.

All participants to the entire course will receive a European certification of attendance to the advanced course.

We were acknowledged with 22 EACME credits and 13 Italian CME.

Thanks to the help of the sponsors, we are able to maintain a low registration fee, as it is always for our congresses and symposia.

Gold sponsors are: GE Healthcare, MILabs, AAA
Silver sponsors are: Siemens Heathineers
Bronze sponsors are: ELSE, Ridgeview, HERMES

Supported also by research grant from the Journal of Clinical Medicine

Scientific Seminar: “Tumor microenvironment and imaging of T-cells”

We are pleased to announce a free special scientific seminar dedicated to “Tumor microenvironment and imaging of T-cells”. The seminar will take place on the 10th of July 2017 in Roma, S. Andrea Hospital at 4 pm, in collaboration with the International Research Group on ImmunoScintigraphy and Therapy (IRIST). Lectures will be given by speakers of international level:
Professor Paola Nisticò(Department of Research, Advanced Diagnostic and Technological Innovation Translational Research Functional Departmental Area Regina Elena National Cancer Institute, Rome, IT) who will discuss the role of tumor microenvironment and its importance in cancer development;
Professor Anna Wu (Department of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, USA.) who will discuss implications of non-invasive imaging using PET enables profiling tumor and immune system biology throughout the body.

The Heart by Nuclear Medicine

High level update on nuclear cardiology especially designed for cardiologists with interest in nuclear medicine modalities for studying cardiac perfusion, metabolism, function, innervation, infection and inflammation.
Optimal schedule also for nuclear medicine physicians and students in training to achieve a high level of knowledge on the newest applications of nuclear medicine in cardiology.

Free abstracts will be accepted for oral/poster presentations.

Registration fees are as low as possible to allow students, in particular, to participate.
